Airport duty-free retail & distribution Concession pending

Our founders have operated duty-free retail and bonded distribution for 15 years — the largest diplomatic duty-free shop in Pretoria and a cross-border distribution business across Southern Africa. African Gateway brings that operating discipline to Mozambique’s airports.

Proposed footprint

Duty-free shops at five Mozambican airports — Maputo, Beira, Vilankulos, Nacala and Nampula — single- or multi-category, from 20 m², tailored to each airport’s passengers.

The model

Authentic premium brands at 20–40% below city prices, on a zero-risk revenue-share model with all fit-out funded by us. Plus a regional distribution channel to operators, seaports and diplomatic buyers.

Bonded cold storage & warehousing In development

Our founders bring 15 years operating bonded warehouses under customs supervision. African Gateway extends that into temperature-controlled, CEIV-grade cold storage at airport hubs — the physical infrastructure that protects perishable cargo from farm gate to export flight, to WHO Annex 5 and EU GDP standards.
